The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently visiting the Fernie two Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render services on the community.

SASSA is going to be rendering expert services such as new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer care enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency explained it can be alarmed in regards to the significant range of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The aim from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some large quantity of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is often mainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no entirely functional office focused on service the area each day. The services point established for intervention activities a higher inflow of likely beneficiaries, which makes it complicated to the office to attend to all people who take a look at a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise a lot more resources to empower the servicing of all consumers and maximize entry to Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
